Most software companies prefer to open programs at startup but the question here is how many times per day do you use Photoshop? Do you need all these startup programs at the expense of the speed and performance of the computer or are you looking for a computer with good performance to get your work done in a short time without problems? Here the answer is up to you.
Disabling programs that run at startup can greatly increase the speed of your computer and will not usually affect your computer since programs can be loaded manually when you click on them.
You can easily stop the programs that work with startup through Windows without the need to use any external programs or tools, and we will review here how to prevent any program from working at startup on Windows 7/8/10.
Disable startup programs on windows 7:-
- Press Win + R on your keyboard to open the Run box.
- In Run, type in Misconfig and click OK.
- Go to the Startup tab to find all the programs that start with Windows startup.
- Uncheck the programs you want to stop running at startup.
- Click on Apply then OK to save the changes.
- Windows will ask you to do a Restart to apply the changes.
Disable startup programs on windows 8/10:-
- Right click on the Taskbar and select Task Manager.
- Go to the Start-up tab from the top.
- Right-click on any program that you want to disable and select Disable.
- You can also press the Disable button from the bottom after selecting the program.
